Walking to the Falls:
Once you park, it’s only a 20 minute walk to the waterfall. There’s no strenuous hiking involved, making it an ideal stop for families, casual walkers, and those short on time.
You will see a faint track in the grass that leads all the way to the falls. You will need to climb a few of the fences but they all have steps so there will be no problems getting over.
If you’re looking for a longer adventure, you can continue exploring the nearby walking trails that lead deeper into Mount Aspiring National Park.
On one of my visits, my friend and I walked the Rob Roy Glacier Track and then spent the afternoon at Wishbone Falls. A pretty good day if you ask me.
